Support contract for an Evaluation and Impact Assessment for amending Regulation (EU) No 517/2014 on fluorinated greenhouse gases

This project supports the European Commission, DG Climate Action, in preparing a proposal for revision of the EU F-Gas Regulation 517/2014, which is scheduled for 2022. The work includes an assessment of European market trends for fluorinated greenhouse gases (F-gases) and their alternatives, modelling of demand and emissions of F-gases, evaluation of the previous revision of the EU F-gas Regulation in 2014, development and assessment of policy options for the upcoming revision, and assistance in involving stakeholders in the revision process.
