Support for the implementation of the mechanism under the EU ETS to support the use of eligible aviation fuels and for establishing detailed criteria for units to be used under CORSIA

The revision of the EU ETS Directive in 2023 foresees the establishment of an eligible fuels support mechanism (20 million allowances) and the elaboration of detailed criteria for units to be used under CORSIA through further legislative acts. The project supports the European Commission by analysing and preparing the details for the support mechanism and the allocation methodology as well as analysing and proposing options for further unit criteria for the implementation of CORSIA in the EU.
