Support of the German Federal Ministry for the Environment in the implementation of the transparency framework, including reporting and review in the framework of the UN climate negotiations

The aim of this project is to provide support to the German Ministry for the Environment in elaborating the rules on measurement, reporting and verification under the Paris Agreement and under the UNFCCC.

Oeko-Institut experts participate in the UNFCCC climate negotiations as members of the German delegation and provide technical advice and background papers. In particular, Oeko-Institut staff support the Ministry for the Environment in coordinating the exchange among Member States during the German presidency of the Council of the European Union.
