Support Project for the Implementation of the Paris Agreement (SPA)

The Support Project for the Implementation of the Paris Agreement (SPA), implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), provides comprehensive support and advice to the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU) for promoting the implementation of the Paris Agreement in partner countries. The activities under the project focus on supporting countries in the implementation of their nationally determined contributions (NDCs) and their obligations in reporting on their climate actions under the Paris Agreement.
