Technical assistance for assessing options to establish an EU-wide green label with a view to promoting the use of renewable energy coming from new installations

This project assesses, which labels for green energy (electricity, heating/cooling, gases) already exist and how they contribute to energy targets of the EU, particularly the development of renewable energies. Based on this mapping activity, different options for the set-up of a union-wide green energy label are developed. This includes award criteria as well as organisation and governance and verfication procedures.
