Technical assistance for policy development and implementation on buildings policy and renovation. Support for the ex-ante impact assessment and revision of Directive 2010/31/EU on energy performance of buildings

The project supports the European Commission

1. in the targeted revision and Impact Assessment of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) - as set out in the Renovation Wave Communication;

2. in the further development of buildings policies and the implementation of the Renovation Wave beyond the upcoming EPBD revision, and in the achievement of the goals as set out in the Renovation Wave Communication.

Support is provided by identifying policy options, assessing the economic, social and environmental impacts of policy options, conducting stakeholder consultations and deriving recommendations regarding preferred options.
