Technical support for RES policy development and implementation – Simplification of permission and administrative procedures for RES installations (RES SIMPLIFY)

On behalf of DG ENER, the efficiency and effectiveness of approval procedures for new renewable projects are analyzed for EU27 countries + NO and IS. On this basis, best practice examples are identified with regard to approvals and administrative processes. Together with Solar Power Europe and WindEurope and under the leadership of eclareon GmbH, Oeko-Institut prepares, among other things, an overview of current procedures, presenting positive examples from member states and proposing improvements for the processes.
