Technical support to increase the overall transparency capacities in developing countries under the Initiative for Climate Action Transparency

This project supports the Environmental Protection Agency of the Republic of Liberia in strengthening the national systems for conducting impact assessments of environmental protection measures on the country's development goals. In addition, support is being provided for the establishment of a monitoring system which the authority intends to use to monitor the country's progress in implementing the measures under the NDC. The aim is to increase the transparency of NDC implementation and to better measure and communicate the extent to which climate policy contributes to the country's sustainable development.
