Transforming production and consumption patterns by strengthening ecolabelling and green public procurement in five Asian countries

The overall objective of the Öko-Institut's planned activities in Asia is to help promote sustainable consumption and production patterns (SCPs) in five Asian countries. This will be achieved by strengthening Type I eco-labels and green public procurement in the target countries. In close cooperation with its local partners, the Öko-Institut aims to advise decision-makers in government agencies, companies and scientific institutions on the methodological and technical issues surrounding eco-labelling and green public procurement in Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Bhutan and Myanmar, and to support them in implementing measures.
