UPcyclePETplus - Development of a dynamic upcycling process for the utilisation of different PET secondary raw material sources for technically high-quality plastic applications - Subproject 4: Development-accompanying ecological evaluation of the UPcyclePETplus-LFT process chain

The overall objective of the "UPcyclePETplus" project was to develop high-quality, long-fibre-reinforced plastic compounds for technical applications (e.g. in the automotive industry) from post-industrial or post-consumer PET recyclates. The Öko-Institut prepared a life cycle analysis accompanying the development of the newly developed process and the resulting recycling-based materials (LFT compound).
