Progress with the method for making early CO2 emission estimates based on Eurostat monthly energy data

This report includes a description of the method used, a verification of the early CO2 emission estimates for the years 2011 - 2013 by comparing them to the final GHG inventory CO2 emission data submitted to the UNFCCC and the calculation of the 2014 early CO2 emission estimates. Finally a data evaluation of the monthly fuel consumption data for the years 2008 - 2013 based on a comparison with annual Eurostat data and fuel consumption data used in Member States’ GHG inventories wascarried out
